We think that every teacher must know not only the theory of his/her classes, but also how to teach it in an effective way. When we talk about an effective way for teaching things, we do not talk about just playing games or singing songs in the classroom. It is necessary that a teacher know his/her students in order to choose the best way of teaching the topics. Here is where a book like Relating to Adolescents by Susan Eva Porter becomes necessary for people who are preparing to become effective teachers.

For us, knowing well our students is one of the essential things a teacher must develop; doing so, the teacher will improve his/her teaching every day, and become more effective in every place he/she is placed. It does not matter if they are little kids, adolescents, or adults, we must take time to learn about the characteristics of our group, and one of the best ways of doing it is through reading books.
